Lots that will work. Try this link: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/g...oved-**-33347/

If you have an Android phone, many folks here use the Torque app.

Unless you buy a newer model car every year you don't really need the updates. I downloaded the most recent one and it was free because my original purchase was less than a year ago, but in the future I will not bother.

Yeah, I haven't spent much time with mine yet. But I did sort out a ABS problem and a CAN BUS circuit failure that I probably could not have solved without it. It only takes a couple of trips to the dealer to spend that much.

from my perspective simply being able to read the code is key as there are many here that can assist in deciphering the codes and give guidance on most probable causes with recommended resolution

If you use iphone ipad or ipod then the Kiwi 2 wifi is good with Dashcommand. Not the cheapest but it is slick and looks good - andprobably has more functionality than you'll ever use but it is there if you want it.

Autoenginuity is powerful, 2nd only to the real WDS/IDS system but not necessary for the vast majority of things. Unless you are really interested in the Jaguar specific systems (non OBD-II) then torque or something like it is a better bang for your buck.

That said, the customer service of Autoenginuity is great. They are just up the road and are bunch of geeky gear heads who were very helpful in debugging a problem the system had in connecting to the climate system.

From that they've made some changes to the latest connector design to accomodate the way our cars OBD system is wired.
