Default Color of car in engine bay, underneath car etc

Hi,

I have a Xkr coupe 2000 year model, platinum and charcoal, paint code MDZ. Can anyone tell me what color my car has in engine bay and underneath car? See picture below from engine bay. I'm in the process of replacing parts in the rear end suspension and since the complete rear sub frame now is out I want to look over the surface rust at the body shell above the subframe assembly. After having removed surface rust and put a layer or two of rust protection I want to top it with the correct paint

All of mine appear to be the same color as the body, no clear coat.

Ok, but this seem to be different. At least to my eyes. Platinum is a metallic paint but the color in engine bay etc is not metallic
