I need to repair the ECU module with reference LJA1410AK. I would appreciate information about workshops in the UK that can carry out the repair. Thank you.
David This is the ECU to be repaired!

I’ve already replaced the capacitors. I sent it to ECUTESTING.com and they replied:
"The variation on the system type is not compatible with our testing set up so we are not able to progress testing."
David
As noted by others usually it is a capacitor issue they have failed and leaked on to the board. Any good electronics place can replace them and if there is any damage to the tracers on the board they can be repaired. I have replaced my own there is 7 capacitors in total and should replace them all as this is a known issue with these.
Thank you all for your comments. The capacitors have already been replaced, so the ignition module may need to be checked. I will also ask ECUTESTING to explain their message in more detail. So far, I haven’t paid anything.
Since the ecu is out and has been repaired by a shop, inevitably voiding any warranty it may have had, open that bad boy up and post some pics so we can see it, maybe we spot something you or your shop didn’t.
I did this to my 97 xk8 ecu when I first got it. Cleared 11 of the 13 fault codes, other two being abs codes.(cured by reflowing solder joints in abs module)I spent 35 bucks on parts and got enough to do it twice in case I screwed up the first time. What else has been done to the car? Is the timing chain and tensioners updated? Fuel filter changed recently? Spark plugs changed? Full load breather clear? Maf sensor clean? Any intake leaks?
