Finally got my Xkr coupe!
I'm finally a proud owner of a 2005 Xkr! Silver with black leather, set of factory 18 with tires and the 20 inch after market wheels on nice, 79,000 miles. I bought it Friday out of st Louis from the second owner it was $16500 we settled at $15500 kinda high but it is clean and mechanically great. But I really wanted a coupe.
It's not the Victory edition with the carbon fiber that I wanted but it's just as good for me. Now I can stop being a xk8 groupie on these pages! Lol
I'm staying this weekend with a CAI kit and exhaust. I think I'm going going with the X pipe with 50 series flowmasters or magna flow and removing the premufflers. So go ahead and post links for me if you have any go fast suggestions. On the CAI I'm guessing they're about even from my research or might just drop in a k&n filter. super charger Pulley after payday. I'm happy guys sorry for acting immature.

Congratulations! I have a similar exhaust on my XK8. I'm running full custom from the cats with an H-pipe and Flowmaster 40s. I love the 40s, but 50s are probably a better choice.

Congratulations! Welcome to the club. I've put nearly 90,000 miles on mine since I bought it 4 or 5 years ago with about 60,000 at the time. I will hit 150,000 in the next week or two. It runs great, looks nearly new, and still gives me the same pleasure I got from it the day I picked it up. Last week I picked up a 2010 XKR coupe just to extend the life of my 2002 'vert. You will enjoy it immensely, just be prepared to handle daily compliments as it garners more than any other car I've ever owned including my beautiful '72 Pantera.
Enjoy!!!

I've been lazy today at work reading this site about this damn XKR exhaust! Lol. I've listened to do many exhaust vid clips and exhaust configurations. That I'm smarter yet still seeking more knowledge. Im going with the 50 delta series flow masters (I think today). Your car sounds good too

Maybe it is more than 5, but it isn't anything you are going to feel. There are some cars putting out some pretty serious HP with the stock system, restrictive bends and all. If you are wanting HP from exhaust, look at replacing the cats. Nameless performance has some, but you sometimes have to wait a while for them.
