Default Gauge cluster swap - 2005 xk8
I’ve got a ‘05 xk8 vert with nav panel in center dash position and would prefer the three gauge cluster instead. Has anyone ever done this swap and is it prewired for the gauge cluster?

Any advice appreciated.

If I've grasped what you mean... the cluster is part of immo so you can't just swap.

Just put in the new panel, hook the clock to Battery +, and fix the needles of the oil pressure and voltage to 12:00 (they never move anyway).
