Question heater/ac blower

2003 XK8 Convertible
Not sure if this is a real issue or not. On max blower, I can hear the fan blowing quite enthusiastically, but the air coming out the vents seems pretty weak in comparison. Both the heat and ac work fine, but in really cold/hot weather, I'm not sure they'd be all that effective. I haven't had it out in very warm or cold weather yet. But on a 27 C day the ac comes out cold, but not much blowing. I don't remember my previous XK8's being like this.
Anyone else have this problem?

There are two? I wasn't aware, and not sure how I'd check...

The two blowers are directed into the central climate control box.
If a blower fails, the blower housing is just a GIANT AIR LEAK for the other blower.

That sounds like it could be that.

Each blower has its own fuse located in the door jamb fuse box. Each one can be removed/reinstalled in turn for identification.

Best of luck, keep us posted.

Well in my case it wasn't the fuses...DAMN! that would have been easy.

The larger point I was trying to make is that the fuses can be removed one-at-a-time to double check that each individual blower is actually running, moving air, and listening to what it sounds like in relation to the various options for the vents (Face, Recirc, etc.). It is harder to tell when both blowers are running together.

My own car also has an issue in that area. Only the Face and Recirc settings give plenty of air flow. I tested 1 blower at a time, and 1 of the 2 sounds "normal", the other produces more white noise and sounds like the airflow is somehow obstructed. I have yet to spelunk into the foot wells to diagnose further. FWIW, eBay sellers for these parts generally have great pictures showing the layout of the system.

Best of luck, keep us posted.
