How do I remove the supercharger so that I can change the valley hoses? I'm going to be doing this in a few days. I looked it up in the JTIS and I got confused. It seems like a 3 day job.
Has anyone posted a guide on how to do this? I've looked and most of what I have seen only applies to the N/A cars.
Thank you! It doesn't look too bad. It seems most of the problem is getting the stuff around it off. Is the supercharger heavy enough to require two people to remove it, or is one person enough? Will I also have to remove the thermostat housing?

One person is enough and yes you will have to remove the thermostat housing.
One you get decent, you can have one off or on in two to two and a half hours. Took me three and a half the first time to get it off.

By my luck, it'll take 5. I guess I'll have to postpone for a few days. I have to buy the thermostat housing gaskets on account that I didn't buy them yet. I changed my thermostat about 1,500 miles ago. Can I forgo buying a new thermostat?
What are the part numbers for those thermostat housing gaskets?
I haven't taken the thermostat housing off the last 4 times I removed the supercharger. You just have to wiggle it out. The main thing that makes it easier is having the right tools. Socket/ratchet extensions and joints. Reach out if you get stuck on anything. My first time doing it, I had to walk away from it a few times and come back with a fresh mind.
Oh, and since its your first time, I'd recommend putting the nuts and bolts in separate labeled zip lock bags so you know what goes where when you are ready to reassemble, especially if you plan on taking long to put everything back on. You might not need it if you have a great memory, but it sure helped me my 1st time.
I'm pretty sure the thermostat housing is a lot different on the X350 than the X308 and X100. Are you referring to a X350?
Intake set up was fairly different as you mentioned. But thermostat housing looked the same to me. I could be wrong though.
I did notice one thing, if you have the stock size pulley, it would be too large to pull out the supercharger without removing the housing due to clearance issues. I forgot about that since I never removed the supercharger with the stock pulley.

Ahh damn. I do have the stock pulley.
Would it be a bad idea to postpone this until I have enough to swap in a twin screw?
It's 4 easily removed bolts that hold it on, but the biggest thing is getting the thermostat housing to overflow tank coolant hard line disconnected without breaking it. My advice is to replace those. I didn't do mine and it ended up blowing six months later while I rolled into work.

LOL, just kidding.

I’m not sure which line you are talking about. The bleeder line that is part plastic part rubber?
