Default Help identifying powersteering part #

Just upgraded my exhaust system and was having fun with the boys taking the corners with the added boost and then it happened.. power steering pump went dry and began to make noise. So now I need to replace but problem is that the 97 year model had two different pumps.. Mine is gonna be the one prior to the upgrade which i found to be
MJA8111BH - XK8 97 from VIN 016230

Can anyone identify the one used for VINs prior to the mentioned above?

Continue your investigation but I would think that the upgraded pump would work just fine for your car.

From the Parts Catalogue:

Original Pump MJA 8111BF was superseded by MJA8111BG. Both of these are shown as No Longer Available and have in turn been superseded by MJA8111BH.

If you have access to a air blow gun, id flush the fluid as well. Really preserves the pumps life.
