Default How much convertible pump oil is required

Can not read the reservoir level, and can not see how to top off if needed.

The top has been slow for a couple of years, last night it only closed half way and stopped half way. I closed it manually, then looked at the reservoir but could not see low or high lines on the plastic tank. The fluid level"seemed" to be below half with the top down. Appreciate any advice.....

You can "feel" them on the side of the clear reservoir- there are two- one full and one low.

If you feel on top of the tank you will find a hex nut. 13mm I think. You need to remove that. Ratchet spanners make the job easier.

To top up and fill you need a syringe and pipe or a pump. I bought a pump in the uk and it cost me £10 around seven dollars. Makes the job much easier. One of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-Transfe...AAAOSwtIBZulZz Though it looks like the pump is much more expensive in the US

As for levels I really cannot work out why you cannot see the levels.

If you look through my posting Franks XKR Story. - Page 365 and work your way down to the convertible latch key picture you will be able to see the fluid level in my tank. Mine was low because of a blown hydraulic line.

The system holds less than a liter of fluid empty.
