That is the price for one hose. You need two. The price for those is $249.99.

I had these hoses installed on my 2006 XK8 about a year ago. All is well so far. I think they are a very good product.

If that is the price for TWO then it comes out to about what the Jag dealer sold them to my PO.

Yes, I bought them from Top Hydraulics.

I think a grand to buy the two hoses and install them is fair.

My Indie in San Diego did it for $1200, so 1K is a deal.

Food for thought; My latch failed immediately after I installed the stainless hoses. Top Hydraulic rebuilt it and did a fine job. I bought my hoses from Cauliflower (not a spell check error, that's the company name). Gus here on the forum recommended them.

Consider doing the latch at the same time as the hoses. Maybe Top will give you a package deal...

We did my Rams and rear hoses last spring. Top Hydraulics will do what they are in business for and you won't be disappointed. Quick turn around if you sent off your latch or rams.
When you get in there your hoses will probably have the exterior falling off, so do the rears at this time saves paying someone to tear it all apart again. The fronts require a bunch more things removed, so as said, your price not bad.

its an all day job to replace the top lines but doable. have to remove the rear seat and drivers seat . and be flexible enough to get in under the dash . hardest part for me was fishing the lines behind the fuse box. I cut the old hose before the fuse box and taped it to the new hoses and pulled them thru, if you do it yourself place some cardboard to the trans tunnel next to the drivers seat and also the drivers door panel to keep the seat bracket from gouging the leather when removing .

main thing is patience.... lots of plastic parts the will snap easily. but other than that its just lots of little parts to remove and replace. lots of tape to # parts and write down locations. most of it is pretty logical when you look at it .

Part number HJB 8256BA is also an option. If its still available it prevents replacing the whole hydraulic line for the latch.
