hydraulic top fluid
Gary, i was about to advise you to have a baster handy or a hose/ funnel. The angle and clearance will prevent you from just pouring fluid in .
I havent done it in a while so I'm working from memory. Take a look before you start.
I had to unbolti it and move it first time I tried. PITA (lots of razor sharp edges down there too.

Thanks for the tips, I was in a rush to get the car to the shop for state inspection.
I removed the CD cage and got the pump refilled with fluid. I miss my old Saab 9-3 where the pump was right behind the rear seat and access was as simple as flipping flipping it down and then 4 screws securing a cover plate.
The Jag top was very sluggish to go up so I might try to flush the system. Is there a procedure anyone has seen on the forum? The temperature was close to 60F so it shouldn't have balked too much.

Has the top latch hoses ever been replaced? What is the level of the system? The system should function well in colder weather unless there is something causing a leak or allowing air/cavitation of the pump.
