Default Impeller, Flute or Double Five?

Favorite 18" factory wheel?

I like mine, a lot, but those double fives are something.

I don't dislike any of them, but I always thought that the D5s had contours that fit the cars shape better. Sorta like how the Apollo style is for the 19" size.

I think most of the Jaguar factory wheels are really good (just look at Garbanzo's beautiful Impellers). I have always especially loved the Double Fives and was happy that our '01 came equipped with them.

Credit to Jaguar for offering very different wheel designs that are equally beautiful on the car.

Cheers,

Don

Both my XKRs have the DOUBLE 5s.

I do have a 2002 sedan (XJR) 'parts-car' with ASTEROIDS that I also like but they are all 8J x 18.
They would fit but I like the wider wheels in the rear of the XK.

My favourite was the Sepang on the Frost Blue 2005 XK8 second from left.

Can't say I've had a wheel pattern I didn't like.

I do like the Flute 7-spoke design. Elegantly uncomplicated lines (and easy to clean!).
