Default Leaking FloorJack?

Is this a problem? Looks like one of the cylinders is leaking oil, I don't think it's grease that got smeared on. I wiped it all off to see if it comes back. Jack works fine, jack stands at the ready tho...Should it go back to Harbor Freight? Had it about 4-5 months.

I'd keep an eye on it and see if it reoccurs. Never not use jackstands, especially with a bargain jack. In fact, most jackstands are pretty iffy for my taste.

Looks like a dual ram system. I does look like grease most of the jacks use a 32 w hyd. oil. (Heavier grade oil that in our convertible tops) Can you send a complete pic of the jack. Grease cylinder are normally used on tract eq. (bull dozers etc.) to push the rams out to tighten the tracks. Grease is very heavy and does not retract well. Jim
