Looking for seat latch escutcheon 2001 XK8
Does anyone have or know where to get the escutcheon that goes around the latch that release the front seat back? Ivory would be perfect, but I can paint if necessary. Could also use the button that goes on the latch. Andy@winehack.net

Have you thought about going down the 3D printer route? The technology is becoming more and more widely available for bits for our classic cars now.
Just a thought. Regards.... Smithy
Thanks, Smitty. I tried the 3d route with a neighbor but he said they need a digital file. Any clue who has one? My escutcheon is busted with missing pieces so I can’t even get good picks to scale.

I saw an episode of Wheeler Dealers where fatty Mike took a broken clip from the mechanism on the sunroof of a classic RS Escort (I think?) If you take the broken part to a 3D printer specialist then they can fill in the gaps with CAD tech and reproduce the part. I might be wrong but think it can be done. I have the part on a bedroom seat I put legs on but don't know how to get it off. I would happily give you it but these parts are held on by a secured rivet bolt not a screw unfortunately.

I would still try a good 3D printer place mate 👍
