Default More weird stuff.what the heck is that plug???

Hi,
More questions on my 2004 convertible xkr.
Notice on the pictures. There is a plastic tubing right behind and touching the supercharger, going all around the back of the supercharger towards the cooler tank. The tubing divides in 3 smaller tubings, each protecting electric cables.
One goes in the cyl head, one seems to connect to the cooler. The 3rd one is just there dangling and connected to nothing...see the picture. The one I am holding between fingers.

From behind the supercharger, the main cable tubing divides in 3. 2 of which go downward, one remains there disconnected. See the other cables going downwards, all coming from the main line behind the supercharger.

Placed it on the cooler. If you can please zoom in to see where it came from. Can see the 2 other tubes/cables behind under.

See the mysterious cable/connector, at the top corner left, dividing. Sorry, bad picture as angle shows too little to see.

Pls zoom in to see better. The green stuff seems to plug the connector. Or..plug the plug... Hehe...

Green eyes in the dark. Scary...
Does anybody know what's that? What is it for and where should it connect?

Thank you so much in advance.

All I can think of is the Low Coolant switch under the fill tank. Though it was smaller than that.
I bow to the experts.

Most of these cars have empty electrical connectors like that because that particular car was not built with that particular option. It is far cheaper and faster for the factory to install just one version of electrical harness, therefore the unused connectors just hang there. All of us owners can find multiple unused connectors throughout our cars if we take the time and trouble to go looking for them....

Do the little green plastic rubbery bits in the end of the plug have holes in them?

If they do have holes, i imagine wires went through them at some time.

If they do not have holes, then they are plugs and are meant to watertight an unused connector.

I don't think so, one of the 2 other wire is actually already connected to under the cooking tank. The other one goes inside the cylinder head cover. This one just connects to nothing...
Thanks

You mean, I should remove the green stuff out and look inside thee plug to see if there are electric pins?

Nope, meant that you can observe the purpose of the little green rubbery bits by taking a look at the outside of them at the end of the connector. If they have holes in them, they were originally intended to have wires put through them. If they have no obvious centerpunched holes, then you can infer that they were put there by the manufacturer as watertight plugs on a connector that was unused.

Oh, sorry. No they're full. No holes in it. Definitely there to fill in the plug.
Thanks for the info. Really appreciate. I wonder if it's in jits, documented as a non used wire..
