Default New to me 2002 XKR reverse sensors not working

Hi, everyone, I've just bought a 2002 XKR convertible, and there are some issues to sort out, one of which is the reverse sensors. When reverse is selected there is a long beep then nothing - i have seen a post on here suggesting putting my ear to each sensor to listen for a high-pitched sound, but all are silent except the "inner right" one, which is emitting a fast ticking sound - any ideas, anyone please?
thanks
Paul

All the sensors except the inner right are either defective or miswired..
