Default New Shift Knob

Thanks to member XJ8JR I scored a smoking deal on a British Auto Woods shift knob.

Been wanting one but just couldn't bring myself to lay down the coin for such a frivolous item.

Can't believe the difference!

Cool Jandreu, the shift knob man!

Jandreu,

Nice knob!

Thanks again for the Hook-up information you sent for the Rear Fog lights. I appreciate you doing that! I now have 4 Stop-Lights.......Also, could you tell me what that thing is in your Coin-holder? What's a "ScanGauge"?

See here for the ScanGuage 2, I modified by coin holder a little for it to fit and get the correct viewing angle.

While it does a lot including reading codes I keep it set on water temp and voltage. Installed it before I converted from NAV to triple guage. I really like the digital water temp readout. Backlight is selectable and I was able to match the AC and Radio backlights almost exact.

Happy you like the extra brake lights, I think it's a must do mod!

It does cost some coin, but those British Auto Wood knobs really make a difference.

At the scene of the accident that totaled our X100, my wife pulled her Autowood knob :-)

It’s now on our X150

Saul indeed does lovely work with these knobs. The one I ordered back in 2012 for my wife's 2006 XK8 Victory Edition with the unique elmwood trim remains the only purely cosmetic component I have spent real money for. As dsd's wife did, my wife would probably choose to keep hers if she ever decides to sell her car or if something unfortunate happens to it....

Exclamation Jandreu, The Stop Light Man!

Does the ScanGauge 2 show Fuel Trims and things like that or just a numbers Gauge for Water Temp, Oil Pressure and Code Numbers? I was thinking that it might look good on the flat part of the Steering Colum in front of the Speed-O.

What would be nice is a little round Gauge that would fit up of the Door Column with my Water/Methanol Boost Gauge....It looks kinda lonely up there by itself! Have you seen anything like that?

No the Scanguage2 does not show fuel trims. I think the larger Scanguage does.
