Default oil pickup tube diameter please

time for another obscure question ...

what is the diameter of the oil pickup tube?

answers in imperial or metric, i.d. or o.d happily accepted!

Is there a prize for whoever comes up with the nearest answer?

S N G Barratt could just be tempted if they have one on the shelf. Of course they'd be more tempted if you want to buy it!

There's two listed in the Parts Catalogue:

AJ85409
AJ810466

No additional information on VIN range applicability, NA/SC or 4.0/4.2

I have a torn apart 2000 4.0 engine,. with a plastic pick-up. I can measure it if you believe it is the same/similar to yours.

I believe it would be the same.

Since it is plastic, the inside diameter of the pipe is what I am after.

The part number should be NCA1711AE to engine number 0108122359 which according to engine decode information posted on JF is engines manufactured up to 2001-08-12.

Thanks!
