Default Perplexed over bushing in rear sway bar link package

Hi Guys, This one has me stumped. I purchased the rear anti sway bar link replacement and was surprised to find a 2 inch long bushing in the package.

I can't figure how to post the picture from Partsgeek website, here is this link:
K80458 | Partsgeek.com

I reassembled it all with the new link, but all the old rubber bushings. Is this as simple as I was supposed to cut off 2 of the bushings from this enclosed stacked set? The 2 inch long bushing would not fit anywhere on the rear sway bar link.

If you have a second, please take a look at the picture on the link. Maybe it will be obvious to you. Thanks!

I got these with the new links I purchased also, I think your are supposed to cut the bush in half, although I replaced it with the powerflex bush alternative.

Since posting this I looked at several competitor's websites - they all picture a 2 inch long bushing as part of the rear sway bar link package. I must be missing something obvious. Thanks for your help. . .

Thanks Racediagnostics. I'm going to replace the bushings with something.

I cut them in half and sandwiched the top and bottom of the control arm so there is no metal to metal contact

Like you, I questioned what was going on. I cut them in half and they were fine, just how much would a small piece of paper with the words "Cut in half", would have cost.
Or include it with the advertised description.
Glad you got it sorted.
