Default Play date for our Jags

I drove up to introduce my XKR to rothwell's XK8 today; about 50 minutes of top down driving in beautiful Florida spring weather. The two cars had so much fun together swapping stories of trips taken and loving care received from their owners that I think we will have to do it again!

Thanks David for a great time.

Yeah it was great to meet Bill and see his new acquisition. Bill got a great buy on his XKR for sure.

It was a lot of fun both driving somebody else's car and being the passenger in mine which I rarely get to do.

Sounds like you had a great time. Two very nice cars there.

May I ask why no registration plates on the front? Just curious.

Because we live in a state that only requires a rear plate.

Thanks! It was good to meet you too.

I'd never driven an XK8 before, so to be able to switch back and forth was a lot of fun and educational too.

The only thing that would have made today better is more people with more cars! Hmmm ... that gives me an idea.
