I followed the instruction and tried to pair the garage door opener with the optional device under my rearview reflector. Even I reached the point of fast blinking step, it won't open my garage door repair Chesapeake VA

And when I push the button B, e.g. alone, it blinks like crazy but the garage door has no response at all. Any suggestions/recommendations?? Thanks in advance.

Did you pair the device itself with the opener first? It sounds like you paired the car to the remote OK so maybe the device isn't paired to to opener.

RandyB....

Looks like you have done just about everything a Man can do! When I moved in here at the Ranch (1993) it was simple to program the Door, but somewhere around 2015, I had to have it replaced with a "Chamberlian" system! Of course the Garage Door Guy left the programing to me! I fooled with it for about a week and finally called the Company and discovered that there is a "Button" on the side of the System, Yes! it's up there....get a ladder....that you have to push it before it will start working!

I know....."READ THE DIRECTIONS"

I have a 99 and a garage door opener with rolling codes. My number 1 button is missing so I couldn't clear all codes. But I kept after this and after several fails I got the number three button opening my garage. So don't give up because tossing that remote is satisfying!

One thing to note is I have to hold the 3 button down for about a second to get the door to open. So you might have to hold it down for two seconds to be sure it's programming, too. Just remember, because of the rolling codes, you have to pair the remote to the console and then also climb a ladder to pair the garage door opener to the console several times. Good luck!

Also, if it matters to anybody, I was using a Crafstman three button universal remote before I succeeded and threw it in a drawer.
