Question About HID Conversion

Question About HID Conversion
Good Morning,
Sometime last year I performed an HID conversion to my 2002 XKR using a Xentec 50W kit ( I think something like $39 on ebay). Anyway, the output is superb but I get a "fluttering" sensation to the right headlight. Not flickering as in on and off but almost like a vibration of the filament if that makes sense. And I don't think it's a true vibration in that it's noticeable with the car stopped. Thus far to remedy the issue I have tried a different ballast, different bulb, and a relay harness with no change. The flicker is only on the passenger sided no matter what I try. My questions are :
1) Do I just have a cheap kit? If so, I will get another kit of higher quality if you guys can make recommendations?
2) Is it related to the wattage? Maybe I should try a 35W kit instead, but I'm pretty sure I've read of folks using 50W kits on this forum with good results.
Overall this is not a significant problem, but noticeable.
Thanks,
Rob

Make sure it's an AC ballast, I went the cheap route first time around. I've converted to DDM Tuning for the H1 and went the Morimoto for the 9005 (high beam) both in 55/50W. The Morimoto is very-very high quality. Both perform the same.
They take about 5-7 seconds too fully turn on, no flicker at anytime. I went with 4500K, no blueness.

MORIMOTO ? High Quality HID Projectors, Ballasts, and Bulbs
2) No, I would stay 50/55W, the H1 projector has good cut-off. The reflector 9005 will blind on-comers if you use as daytimers...I use like high beams @ night, dip when on-coming traffic approaches. I really enjoy my high beams every time their turned on.
Hope this helps.
On lighting these worked great for me:
for side lamp, the small bulb between high and turn lights...many bulbs won't fit due to the holder size:
and for reverse, 1156/7506 white:
