Default Rear main oil seal-Help

I know this subject has been covered many times, but I can't seem to find the what I am looking for. I have a 1998 XK8 4 L with a bad rear seal. My mechanic has been working on the engine leak for weeks. He replaced the seal, but it is still leaking. He cannot find another rear main seal to replace the new one that he thinks was old and bad. Can anyone provide me with a part number and perhaps where i can purchase one? Can anything else be causing oil to be pushed past the seal. I have cleaned the PVC.

Try SNG Barratt. You can call them for help on the correct part #. They have a couple listed.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll notify my mechanic.

Mine was redone as well and was leaking after I went up to the shop and chewed them out they replaced it again. Torque specs are extremely important
