Default Replacement driver seatbelt receiver for '03 XKR

Hi All-
Could any of the senior members point me in the right direction of where to find a new (or good condition used) drivers side seatbelt receiver that's been broken on my '03 XKR ragtop? It's still functional but only a matter of time until it's not, and obviously an eyesore. I do know the part number is HJE7017AGLEG.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts....

try our forum sponsors - jagbits, SNGBarratts, Coventry West or check out the forum market place - extheaterkid is parting out and has some interior parts

I had to buy one from a salvage yard. Try Jaguar Heaven in California. They have a website and will respond to your inquiry but it takes a while. Be warned the seat belt receivers are EXPENSIVE.

Good Luck

You can get a new one here but price is above $500 so not really feasible.

Assuming that the buckle is still functional, I think the outer case is the same as the rear ones so this might work. Cheaper at under $100 but a least you will get a spare one for later.

They are NOT just a seatbelt latch but a complete 'pretensioner' assy. (pyrotechnic)

They are part of the SRS. Probably need to have hazmat shipping so be aware.

Local salvage yard would be a good choice.

Hi

I have a similar problem. Assume it is a seat out job to get to the buckle receiver star/hex bolt as not a lot of room to get an Alan key down there?

Rob, yes I had to remove the seat to do the job.

If anyones is still looking for an illusive HJE7017AGLEG then I managed to get one from autoreserve. They must have had two come in on a breaker. There’s one left.

now onto the next impossible part to try find, the R performance brake dust shields for the later brembo front brake set up…… not expecting much luck.
