AJ83970 heater feed pipe to throttle body old and new. I’ll cut to the left of the label.

Don't cut it. It's supposed to look like that. That's the one that fits on the LH nipple on the back, correct? Your old one looks to have been replaced. My new one is the same as you have, and it fits correctly.
