Default Santa came today

My XK8 showed up at 2:30 AM in a blinding snow storm. The car is beautiful and appears to be in great shape. Dying to go for a drive but we got several inches of blowing snow.

Congratulations and welcome to a great forum. Just got home from a holiday party, it's 9pm, my convertible top was down all day in our 80 degree weather and still down tonight. It's hard to imagine putting my cat into hibernation for six months (along with our California Desert Tortoise).

Congratulations! My first winter with a Jaguar also. Hope you get at least a few mild days before spring to exercise the cat.

You may need to postpone the first drive, but you can sit in the seat and make Vroom=Vroom noises!

Congratulations on your choice.

Assuming you have a garage, now is the time to do all the maintenance checks. New (to you) car means change fluids, check the hoses and belt, filters, etc.

Check the DIY thread on the main page stickies. Plenty of things to keep you busy waiting on the weather to break.

Great find, Dennis! Best of luck with her. In case no one's mentioned it, our lovely cars suck in snow. (But look damn good doing it!)

Congrats Dennis!!! The wait to drive may be unbearable but once you do, the enjoyment of the drive will put a grin on your face to make up for it!

Dennis, What in the world did all the neighbors think, I know you reeved up the engine.
Did you really unload it at 230 AM? Pictures would make a believer out of me.
Congrats and get it checked out for the spring.

Congrats Dennis, nothing like the enjoyment of owning and driving a Jag, spring won't come to soon for your first drive in the beautiful Black Hills!
