You need a disc for the system but they have not produced updated disc's for several years so it's worthless. In your 2003 "if" you have a disc all you can do is get the clock to work but without a disc even that will not work.
The disc's are available on ebay for anywhere from $170 to $220, search "Jaguar Navigation Disc" and they will come up.
I just removed the NAV system from my 03 and installed a triple gauge setup, if you want I'll sell you my disc must cheaper than ebay. PM me if interested.

Does anyone know how I might get the navigation system to work here?

This question has been raised before https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...-dvd-56896/and the answer is there was never a NZ map disc for the Alpine Nav in the X100.

Basically, your choices are:
1. Leave it as is (non-working).
2. Replace with a three gauge cluster.
3. Several people have replaced the OEM SatNav with a Garmin, Tom Tom, etc.

Hey Chris, they're quite right, i can't be sure exactly where I am because the damn SATNAV won't go. I think it might be Nelson though.Originally Posted by woox4

This is my 03 after conversion from a NAV dash.
Jeff, you will need to source a new dash panel, a triple guage cluster and get whitexkr's wiring kit. http://www.thejagwrangler.com
Cost depends on how much you end up paying for the used parts.
Hardest part is finding a center panel to match the rest of your dash or buying a complete matched set.
Keep an eye on eBay and the forum marketplace list for folks parting out cars.
