Default Sheared Differential Output Stud

My first nut that I removed on the halfshaft to differential stud sheared right off! Following that, I used a little PB blaster and heat...no problems on the others. So, based on the image of the new stud I ordered, it appears to be a press-in stud, but how the heck do I get the old one out and the new one in? There isn't enough room behind the head of the stud to maneuver it out, then back in. Tell me I don't have to pull this thing apart. Any instructions and advice?

looks like circlip 16 to take it out. Sorry. You could coat the broken one with loctite and just use 3

Is there room to put the bolt in the other way around? I.e. the nut goes on the differential side and the bolt goes on the half-shaft side? Even if you had to cut the bolt down in length, its a better option than no nut.

Remove the giant circlip, pull the shaft assy out, repair, reinstall shaft assy and circlip, DONE!

Ok, well…I’ll give it a shot with the circlip removal and pull the assembly. Thanks for the advice.

l suggest if you don't own them already, get yourself a pair of turn screw adjusted or ratchet locking circling pliers. They will make the job easier.
