Oh my. How much extra is it to move the steering wheel to the other side?

Out of curiosity, how did you keep the ECU from freaking out now that the TCM has been replaced with your left foot and hand.

Gorgeous, and the perfect color to compliment my vert. I've been yearning for a coupe that I could take to the track that's a little more modern than my Pantera. Maybe if we sell a couple of our automated parking structures this year....
Great job!

Stunner. How possible/common are the manual trans swaps?

Very hard and far from common, although I guess it happens more often if there's an engine swap as well. In fact, I recall Jaguar had made the XKR-R as a proof of concept. They got it working, but they didn't get to having the warning lights shut up about it. I suspect that using the original Jag V8 engine, there must be a total of 1 or 3 cars with the manual trans worldwide.

That's more than what the car is worth. From a financial standpoint, it's not very wise. From the side of an enthusiast, seems like a very important investment.

I have a full Recaro interior in black, it is for a coupe...... So will probably put it into my own XKR..... They are coming up more available now, it will be the shipping that will hurt

Where do you see more becoming available?

I troll classifieds and ebay periodically and rarely see any recaro parts for an XK8/R, never mind a whole interior.

Maybe there are just more recaro equipped cars delivered in Europe than the US?

When you say full recaro interior your referring to both front seats and the rear bottom and top portion corrent? Or is there other bits? Also whats the going rate over there for a set?

When I say full Recaro, you get all the seats, centre console, door cards and the rear quarter panels.

Not they are particularly different but at least you know everything came from the same car!

Does this thing feel absolutely amazing to drive like I think it does? Your probably the only person on this board who's driven a manual xk. Whats the going rate for a set of those seats where you are?

JJRT your car looks amazing, love the color!
