Default Spares for a road trip?

I'm planning to take the XKR on a road trip through France down to Andalusia and back next summer and am starting to put together a box of likely spare parts to carry just in case.

The tensioners were replaced 1000 miles ago and I replaced the supercharger oil 100 miles ago. I will get a (very) full service before I go but was wondering what spares folk would suggest I take.

In addition to all the usual bulbs and fuses I have a new TPS, brake pedal switch & wing mirror in the box already for starters

Serpentine belt - pretty cheap and always worth having a spare in the boot (trunk). Have you got two keys ? Assuming 'Yes' - I would get a third key cut - just the blade bit so you can open the boot, and keep this in your pocket or wallet. Then, hide the spare key / remote fob in the boot before leaving (maybe in a padded envelope under the spare wheel). So ........... if you lose your keys a very long way from home, you can get into the boot with the 'mechanical' key to retrieve the spare 'proper' set. Sounds like 'overkill' but losing your keys in the middle of a holiday thousands of miles from home isn't a happy situation, and this way, the spare set will always be with the car, but not easily discovered, should there be a major problem.
Finally - granny sucking eggs time I suspect - check current French & Spanish motoring legislation before leaving. I think the French requirement for two 'breathalisers' is still on hold, but there's other stuff about high-vis tabards, fire extinguishers, first aid kits etc., which seem the change almost on a daily basis.
Plenty of time to get organised well in advance !!

All good advice. Changed the serpentine belt at last service but no harm in a spare.
Yes, got 3 keys (4 if you count the valet) - I "lost" my spare so had another cut then found the "lost" one so I never paid the extra to get the third programmed but will be fine for opening boot and doors.

All good stuff - also going to take a roll of silicone emergency hose repair tape as I can't possibly take replacement hoses.

I'd take a cheap handheld code reader with you to help troubleshoot any issues that crop up.

My luck may not be as good as yours, but I bring enough fluids to get me home, a roll of tape, a tire pump, some liquid tire repair, like Slime, or fix a flat, a tire plug kit, and one of every type of bulb on the car, and fuses.......I also bring my cat, but you will need to find your own........be cool.....Mike

If you are coming down here in the summer make sure your aircon is working

I think you are at the other end of the coast from us, but if you make it this far east message me and we can compare XKRs.
