Default Supercharger oil change.

What i thought to be a straightforward job turned out to be anything but. The plug removal was fiddly, but my problem was getting the tube in any distance to drain the old fluid, it did not seem to matter how much i tried it just hit a brick wall. The tube came with the kit and is obviously the right size. What am i doing wrong?. I ended up loading the syringe and putting some fresh in.

Would you share how your tube diameter compares to my 0.132" (3.35mm) OD 14" Weed Whacker fuel hose?
The first time I drained mine was at 62K miles, where I extracted 7oz's of coffee colored oil.
Since then, I schedule a drain and refill every 20K miles.

You will need to push the small diameter tube/hose DOWN past the large gear connected to the rotor lobes.
If you try to go STRAIGHT IN you will NOT be able to continue to feed into the oil reservoir area,

Hello Bob:
I came up with inserting my 14" length of 0.132" OD tubing to a depth of 6" by trial and error. I would guess that I insert my tubing 45-60 Degrees DOWN from STRAIGHT IN.
Since I am extracting around 7oz against a spec capacity of 7.3 oz, I think that I am extracting all the oil that there is to get.
Also, I did not have success with larger diameter hose as the larger the diameter, the STRAIGHTER IN it wants to go.
I would be interested in what diameters others use.

Every tube has a natural curve - insert it until you feel it stop, then rotate it whilst applying slight pressure - you'll then feel it drop below the gear. same when you're syphoning out, keep on rotating and moving it slightly backwards and forwards, surprising how much more you get out.

Guess which one was the new oil?
