Hello...after 15 years in intermittent operation my tilt wheel is stuck fully extended and fully down. This is where I typically drive, so not the worst problem to have, but it would be nice to move it to get out. I hear the motor click when I try to lower it against the hard stop, but no other direction has any effect. Any ideas how to restore operation?

I never use the automatic tilt away feature when one day I was fooling with the steering wheel and it got stuck completely at the in and up max position. Regardless of what I tried all I could get was the clicking sound. As a last resort I moved the control knob to the out position, the clicking started and with my free hand pulled the steering wheel towards me not really very hard but firm. The wheel came out back no clicking and the system works as normal but not at its limits I assume.. Of course I am going to leave it alone but as yours seems stuck also at the end of its travel this may work.

Thanks for the info! I think I will turn off the AUTO feature since it is in a good position. Looks like there have been a lot of problems with this system.
