Tree sap removal - found something FYI
Summer + pine trees = sap deposits. I recently read how sap dissolves in alcohol. Tests show it true.
today in pharmacy I saw those small pads soaked in alcohol, used to sterilize area before injection. Well they are dirt cheap so I gave it a try. (50 pads for $1.15)
good news, they got rid of week old dried on sap in no time! I will have to re wax the area but it's super easy so I wanted to pass it on.

See that, you guys knew this one already. Hey how do you get it off the cloth convertible top? I was uncomfortable just rubbing alcohol in, any better ideas out there? (Yes, I almost typed "rubbing rubbing alcohol" but that would give anyone a headache)
I have also used rubbing alcohol to remove pine sap from the convertible top. The key is to use plenty of alcohol on a soft rag (I use an old cotton diaper). Take your time and proceed gently while allowing the alcohol to do the work for you....
