Trunk Switch Diode
If you want to test the diode without removing it, do it from the bulb holder. Remove the bulbs and check for continuity from the bulb holder to the switch with a multimeter. You should get a low ohms reading one direction and a high ohms reading in the other with the probes switched around.
Trunk lights come on very rarely, "Boot Open" message extremely rare. Micro switch test OK, bulbs good, FOBs will not program. There is something strange in the trunk light circuit which is an input to the Security and Locking module. Has me baffled.

Diode is OK, bench tested the switch OK. Give up, do not need trunk lights anyway. Tape the diode back to the harness, reassemble interior linings tighten up the latch bolts and ......the lights come on! Off again now but the culprit has to be the switch which I ordered last week.
