Default UK Source for Dorchester Gray

I want to refinish the windows trim pieces on my car. A forum search here brought me to a couple of US suppliers of Dorchester Gray but neither one wants to ship to Canada

Do any of our UK members know a supplier for this trim paint ? I would prefer an aerosol can but will make do with brush on if I must. ( I have never found a UK supplier who won't ship to Canada )

If there happens to be a Canadian supplier as well that would work too

Surely you can get it mixed up locally. They must repair cars in Canada.. in the UK I've bought it and had it mixed at a local parts store . No big deal

There are "maybe" 10 XK8s or Rs within 500 miles of me. The local dealer knows nothing. Local shops don't even have the paint codes for Jags pre-2010. I will check out Halfords ..I also have not tried SNG Barratt yet.

I really don't understand why so many American companies will not ship across a land border , but UK and EU companies have NO ISSUE shipping across the Atlantic ??

I will get you the paint code for Dorchester grey. You can go to any paint supplier and they will mix it for you. Doesn't have to be jaguar. Any car company can help you.

Dorchester Grey shows as code 342 or LDP on the automotivetouchup.com website. You will not find it under our MY - have to go back to 1989 as the MY to locate

Barry,
Suggest you contact roberts@robertspaintcare.com in Quebec.
They have supplied aerosol paint for me with Jag codes and the match has been good. Base and clear coat. Worth a chat with them as I found them very helpful.
Eric.

Check this paint out Dupli-Color Perfect Match Paint, Graphite Grey Metallic (NH91M) | Canadian Tire

Also check this chaps process to repaint the trim pieces.
