I live in the UK and wish to source the best replacement tensioners. Recognising that the OEM design was somewhat wanting, does anyone have any recommendations as to where to buy from in order to avoid ordering the inferior 1st generation design part again? Thanks.

 

https://www.sngbarratt.com/English/uk/home is a good start. I doubt you'd find any of the plastic bodied tensioners for sale anywhere anyway - they've been obsolete for two decades or more.
