Well thanks to Woox4 I now know the interior trim is Dove and the paint is Platinum 1916. He struck out on Topix as it didn't list the trim. But then he really went above and beyond and visited his local Jag dealer who was able to give him the info! And then, he even offered to email me the spec sheet! Just WOW! Many heartfelt thanks to Chris for being such a stand up guy and going so far out of his way to help someone he's never even met! The folks in this online community continue to impress me with their helpfulness and knowledge.
Hope I can give a little back as I learn my way around my cat.

Wow. That makes me wonder if Jaguar were right when they told me that mine was Cashmere, as mine is nothing like that (as you can see from the picture)

You can never go by photos when attempting to determine colors. I have a Dove interior in my 2005 S-Type and it looks darker in person than the photos of Dove interiors posted in this thread. Always go by the actual interior code, do not trust any photo. Too easy to fool your eyes....

I think Jon is spot on regarding using the codes. I've looked at many pictures on e-bay and other places trying to run down some items. And in some cases, photos of the exact same item will look light grey in some pics and light tan in others taken by the same person, at the same time, for the same site! Usually seems dependent on lighting, back ground or angles. So I'm really happy Woox4 was able to finally give me a definitive answer based on the VIN!

I'm happy that the OP found out what he needed - my interior is ivory as well, and indeed the color code is NED (easy to remember :-)).

One comment is that Topix is rather stingy with info - I created an account some time ago, and all I get for my VIN is this:

VEHICLE FEATURES
Transmission 5 SPD AUTO TRANS ZF 5HP24
Air conditioning ATC AIR CONDITIONER
Version SERIES 25
Body style 2 DOOR CONVERTIBLE
Emission requirements LEV REQUIREMENTS
Engine 4.0L NA V8 Petrol
Drive LHD

Not exactly illuminating

I had the same experience. It used to be useful as I could get the full spec sheet but it is very light these days. The solution to the OPs question actually came from Jaguar's parts software in this instance.

I don't know about Jaguar's Parts Software, but I do know how look on the Door jam of my XKR and read Trim NED....which is Ivory....

So we have discovered that it looks like Cashmere, it looks like Ivory, it doesn't look much like Oatmeal, but it is actually Dove.

How does anyone ever believe their eyes?

Exactly! I had been on the verge of ordering a lower rear seat on eBay but found when looking at the pics that the closest color matches were all over the board. In certain cases cashmere, oatmeal, and ivory all “looked” to be matches. And dove looked too dark! Apparently the dove is harder to find so I may just have my interior guy do a match and repair. Or possibly the rear seat delete.

There are a few companies that do seat leather, one to get you started is https://www.topsonline.com/departmen..._Covers/Jaguar
