Some Jags had a boot ( Trunk ) spring pusher , to crack the boot up enough after opening with remote key . Mine are missing on my X type , but I did find one rolling around the rear floor , when I got it home from the Auction were I bought it ( unseen --What a brave
man !!!)

Its a black cylinder with a spring loaded plunger in it . I can see the remnants still attatched to the trunk hinges !!
