Default Where does this connect ? 02 XKR - RESOLVED

This is a link to a photo showing a long red wire in the trunk of my 02 xkr. Now I don't remember where it connects to ??? I had to replace the battery and when I put the battery in, the car would not crank, leading me to believe this wire connects from the fuse box in the trunk to ?? I would not think it should connect to the high voltage box !! It comes from the wiring bundle that goes back to the fuse box area.

Thanks,
Ken in WV by golly !!

....... and I was about to chide Frank for being silly.

Can we assume from no follow up photo that you've solved the mystery?

Graham,
Thanks for the diagram. I don't know how the wire was taken off of the connection in the box... It just doesn't seem to have been connected there when I first got the car. Perhaps the previous owner connected it to the positive post on the battery. I will reconnect per diagram as that's where it is supposed to go.... thanks for all of your help and patience !!
Ken
