Default Window control module programing

97 XK8 coupe. Passenger window lost its mind. Went completely erratic. I pulled out the module, opened it and found a nice little burnt spot. Getting a replacement with the same part number is easy. Mine has a sticker on it that says Download 25P which I suspect refers to its particular program. None of the ones I see for sle have such a sticker. Question is if I get one from an X100 coupe will it need to be reprogrammed? If so, who still has that capability? Thanks for any help.

Remove the battery before you install it
If car refused to lock then connect both battery together for about 10 seconds that will reset everything good to go

I was clarifying your english as some might take it to mean join the battery terminals as you missed a word out of your sentence

"If car refused to lock then connect both battery CABLES together for about 10 seconds that will reset everything good to go "
