Help!! When i turn on the cruise control swith, as i am driving, then i push the set button, the Failsafe Engine mode turns on. One guy said to replace an electronic box near the break pedal. I replaced it but no luck. So my cruise control doesnot work.. any Ideas???

You should check the brake switch. Is that what you replaced?

Can you pull the OBD codes and post them?

 

When I turn the car off it resets itself, so I Have to re engaged the cruise control to get the error message. I have a pending code of P1111. The last 6 digits of my VIN is 027727.

 

Well I took it into the shop. The problem was a Clogged vacuum hose. Fixed - Cruise control working beautifully.

 

Good to know but do you know what hose was clogged?

 

It was a bad vacuum hose under right front inner fender liner for cruise control vacuum tank.
