Where is the best place to buy some XKR accessories ?
Badges, Hood vents, trunk lip spoiler ?
I have an XK8 and I am not trying to make it something it is not but I love the look of the XKR (2006 and older) but I did not want a supercharged engine so I would like to at least put some stock hood vents on my XK8.
Ebay is always good but is there another site ?

I did a search (in my area) and found OE hoods from $200-1000, and rear spoilers from $90-200.

There is a salvage yard in Sun Valley (San Fernando Valley part of Los Angeles), CA that specializes in dismantling Jaguars including many Xk8/R. Good source for parts. I will see if I can find his name and address and post a little later.

 

I think I also went there once right after buying my 2005 XKR. I was missing the ashtray insert piece and was able to get one there, along with a net for the luggage compartment. His prices though were not much better than a dealer. I figured he would charge me maybe $10 or $15 bucks for the ashtray and net I scrounged out of one of the wrecks and I think it turned out $50! The place was Galaxy on Sheldon Street and they guy was Avo.
