Hi All.
My XK8 has excessive negative camber on the front end (inner tire tread wearing). I measured it at -3 driver side and -2.5 passenger side.
I have done/checked the following:
-checked for signs of wear/play in the lower control arm bushings (as much as I can without taking the control arm out. They look ok and no movement when I check for play with crow bar.
-checked ball joints for obvious deterioration.
-checked ride height (both sides 405mm, which is actually a few mm more than spec)
-newer suspension mounts still look good
-upper suspension bushes were replaced last year
-I thought later models had the eccentric adjustment bolt standard, but mine doesn't have this. Also I understand this will only make a very light adjustment possible.
Don't really want to replace the lower control arm bushes if I don't need to, but am kind of thinking that's the next thing.
Hoping I'm overlooking something and someone has a suggestion on how to fix this.
What is measurement from the center of the wheel to the edge of the curve in the fender.
Should be in the Neiborhood of 15.5 inches, that will tell a lot.

Thanks, I did measure that at 405 mm which is 15.9 inches. I read somewhere spec was 15.75. Slightly higher ride height should make camber less negative.

Sorry I disagree, Slightly higher ride height will make Camber MORE negative. This is because the upper Wishbone has a shorter Radius than the lower Wishbone and both are mounted near parallel in geometry. Having said that, your ride height is just 4 millimeters too high and I can't see this alone creating the Camber angles you have.
