Default XKR convertible hydraulics leaks

I spent the day dismantling the rear seats and side panels etc. to see where the hydraulic roof system is leaking from.
Some small leaks started puddling under the rear near side (RHD) after I put the roof up and then would not go down again, with fluid loss from the reservoir.
Around both cylinders there is wetness and oil below the seat. The hoses are loosing their outer cover where they have rubbed against something and wiping them removes the cover.
Wiping everything down and opening and closing the roof, the offside is leaking badly and the near side seems OK.
it looks like there is a particular leak from the push fit fitting. I have not removed it yet and presume there is an O ring I can replace. Does anyone have experience with this?
Does anyone know any UK cylinder repairers? I see some in the US and one in Germany.
i will source a new set of hoses, which seems quite easy here and not too expensive. The hoses on the pressure side to raise the roof are badly kinked. I presume someone has been at them in the past and not reinstalled correctly. What is the correct alignment

Kinked hose

Another kinked hose

of the fittings to the cylinder? See photo
I have no leaks at the front catch, at least through the headliner.
Any advice would be welcome

You are doing exactly what needs to be done. Good news, you are mostly there in the disassembly part. Really surprised you don't have a leaking latch, someone has been there before, so may have already done that part.
With luck a O will fix the plug in connection. The cleanup is ugly job.
Well done in finding out the problem.

Thank you, yes I saw that HEL sell the hose kits, also a Jag specialist - DCR Autoparts.
I have managed to source 2 replacement cylinders on eBay from a guy who ordered them from Top Hydraulics in the USA. I should get them tomorrow.
I have also started cleaning things ready to put back together including the leather on the back seats.
