XKR Rear Hub Installation Challenges

XKR Rear Hub Installation Challenges
Hello,
I am installing new pads and resurfaced discs on a 2001 XKR Silverstone - equipped with Brembo brakes. As the hub and discs were stuck together, I had to remove one of the rear discs by first pulling out the disc and the hub and then getting them separated.
Can someone please help me with the following:
1. Any tips on how to get the hub seated correctly?
2. What should I torque the nut that keeps the rear hub in place?
3. What should I torque the bearing nut (from the backside of the wheel) that keeps the front hub in place?
4. Can someone please point me to a shop manual for the 2001 XK - at least for the chassis & suspension/brakes?
5. Does anyone know if the 2002+ XKR100 has the exact same Brembo hardware as the 2001 Silverstone?
I would appreciate any support and help on this.
Thank you,
Paul

The Workshop Manual for your era Jaguar is JTIS (Jaguar Technical Information System). This is available for free download from General Tech Help:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/g...rchives-65926/
Checking JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue), the brake disc options appear to be the same for all 'R' performance models but the calipers for the Silverstone are listed separately and with different part numbers. There is also a change of part number at VIN A19766.

Paul,
Here's the brake disc replacement procedure from JTIS:
JTIS - XK8 Brake Disc - Brembo.pdf
The XK8/XKR Workshop Manuals are available for download as PDF's from the FAQ's. Follow this link:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ts-data-29800/
Scroll down to WORKSHOP MANUALS - PDF Format for a link to download the Third Edition (2003). Be advised it's 69mB.

GGG and NBCat et al,
I failed the JTIS install on a Windows 10; used other docs and pointers you both provided, including signing up on TOPix, but I still need help with the following - if you can possibly PDF it like the Brembo doc that you provided:
1. 2001 XKR (Brembo) Wheel Hub Assembly Removal & Installation - Front & Rear.
2. Torque Specifications: I need either the whole specifications section that has all the torque settings or:
(a) XK Front Wheel Hub Nut/wheel gear (backside)
(b) XK Rear Wheel Hub Nut
Please advise or point me to a doc.
Thank you,
Paul

The JTIS PDF's are too big to attach to a forum post so I've uploaded them to my MediaFire file storage. You can download them free using these links:

Rear Wheel Bearing (16mB)

Hello GGG et al:
First off, all went well with the rear discs - so thank you again for your help; i still have to tighten up the emergency brakes and further torque the hub..
I am now tackling the front side and have been unable to separate the disc and the hub so far and I cannot damage the disc as I am going to resurface/use it, so I am now trying to use the best option possible. What i figure is that:
1. Use a large gear puller and leverage the studs to pull the disc off; i actually doubt that this will work and have not found a big enough (flat) puller that would work. (Note that I already put some rust eating oil on it, but has not helped..)
2. Remove the front rotor nut (with the speed sending gears) using the 206-066A "special tool" listed in the JTIS; I can then easily punch the hub out of the disc.
The problem on this one is that I should ideally have the special tool as I need to torque it up to 300 Nm and don't want to break any of the teeth around the combo nut/ABS ring.. I have found such a wrench online - at a hefty $100+ price - but not at any of the local parts stores.. (Any tips on reputable and quality sources for this tool would be much appreciated.)
Question: Is there another way and am i missing anything in the picture?
Thank you,
Paul

Front caliper housing bolt removal challenges..
As recap (current): I just pulled the front discs/hub off the XKR as a unit, relying heavily on Graham's "wheel bearing" PDFs.
Thank You,
Paul
I am now looking for a PDF of the disc/caliper section - would appreciate any help.
Thank You,
Paul
