The stars are aligning for Jaguar Cars. Under the right command, Tata Motors has the panache and financial backing to grow the brand. Over the last decade Tata has been ramping up Jaguar to be a high volume luxury manufacturer. Jaguar is revitalizing itself into a new generation. To compliment their increased production and owner base there are new warranties, infotainment system and more powertrain choices.

The figures fed to me at the last Jaguar event claim that in the years coming, Jaguar projects global sales to be at 1.2 million units from around 420,000 units sold in 2014. That is tripling their production and sales in only a couple years. The all-new 2017 Jaguar XE will be approximately 500,000 units, while the F-Pace SUV will make up the other 380,000 units of extra sales. The F-Type, XF and XJ will cap the rest of the 380,000 units produced for dream total of 1.2 million.

Even though Jaguar has beefed up their line from three vehicles up to a mere five, those five vehicles have an overabundance of options creating the illusion of a larger lineup. Every Jaguar now has an option of all-wheel drive (AWD) and most have two to four engine choices. Select models have a choice of an eco-minded turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine and newly available 6-speed manual transmission. These kinds of features were unheard of by Jaguar years ago and buyers had to go to BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Every model is designed around a rocket-age aluminum monocoque chassis that gives each Jaguar model its own unique feel. To match that inside is their InControl Touch Pro Infotainment system. Finally, interior tech that goes with their mechanical prowess. InTouch Control Pro Infotainment system allows owners to connect in or remotely outside of the vehicle receiving data about locks, windows, HVAC, scheduled maintenance, fluid levels, stolen vehicle by tracking and suite of apps for entertainment. This comprehensive service also provides wifi if continued after trial period which runs out after 6-months.

The final integration of becoming a large manufacturer is providing a competitive warranty. New this year Jaguar delivers their new EliteCare warranty program. EliteCare is a 5-year, 60,000 mile service that offers all the new warranty details, 24-hour roadside assistance, complimentary (free) scheduled maintenance and Jaguar InControl Remote and Protect services.
