Default Key Fob

Does anyone know where/how to buy a 2017 XF key fob and how to get it programmed. One of mine seems to be faulty, the battery goes flat in 1 day.
I still have one good key.
PS I would like to avoid Jaguar dealers

TIA
Hugh

Hugh
I would disassemble the suspect fob and try some electrical contact cleaner on the circuit board while pressing the buttons with no battery. It's very hard to find locksmiths that can supply and program an XF, even dealers have been known in Australia to not get it right and kill your car completely and wanting 4k plus for new computers.l have a local locksmith in country Victoria that can supply 2 fobs and programing for $1600 if you started with no keys. A lot cheaper if you already have one. At least he guarantees his work not like a jag dealer.

Thanks Jim,
Yeah I did clean off the back of the board which did have some signs of corrosion. I could remove the board and do the other side or try operating the buttons as well. I have seen a video of method.
I might come back to you for your Victorian locksmith.

So I took the board out. It wasn't too difficult although I broke one of the supports. No big deal, superglue will sort that.
But I did find lots of crap and corrosion. Cleaned it up with IPA, changed the battery and so far so good.
I coated the board with some varnish but not on the buttons.
We will see if it is still working tomorrow.

I'm a bit surprised as this is the spare key and spends most of its time on the hook in hallway. Also surprised Jaguar don't coat it.
There is a gasket but i don't think its doing much.

Strange how it's only the one fob that was affected but a good outcome without having to go to a dealer.

Might have been dropped in the rain and not dried off properly.
I'm getting a couple of these covers.

A bit more protection wont hurt.
