Default Confused with CCMs

I have 23k miles on my 15 V8S with CCMs. I've looked around the forum but am still a little confused with upkeep of the brakes.

How often do I have to change the pads? I don't track the car and it sees only city/highway driving. I saw somewhere that they should be changed every 25k miles but at a cost of $2500 for a set of pads, thats almost $10,000 in pads over the lifespan of the rotors (100k miles). At this point would I be better off selling the CCMs and putting on regular steel brakes?

Thanks!

Thanks! This thread talks a lot about the rotors but I can't find a clear answer to pads. Is it fair to assume that they should be changed with 50% wear? Right now I believe the rear pads are down from 10mm to 8mm which means I do have some time left but don't want to wait too long as I risk damaging the pricey rotors

The minimum thickness for the front pads is 3 mm and it's odds on the same 3 mm for the rear pads, so yours are barely worn at all and way short of needing replacement.
Nothing to panic about!
