Default Driver Side Window Issue

I just bought a 2017 F-Type and sometimes have issues with my driver side window.
-Sometimes when I open the door, the window goes down about 1/2 way(not a 1/2 inch ). When this happens I have to close the door and roll the window up. If parking, I have to roll the window up with the door open, then close the door. When its like this, it will not auto dip correctly.
-The window will not go up/down constantly while holding down the button. I can not do a reset on the auto window switch as well.

I am thinking maybe the regulator/door switch is broken.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated it.
-Adam

The first thing to do is reset the windows; the simple procedure is in your owner’s manual.

You might have moist inside of switchpanel. Use some warter repellant like WD-40 carefully and small amount in time.
It can take several go and even a week for a effect.

Well, the next thing might be to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds - this clears faults in the modules, and then do the window reset.

OzXFR claims his only works when he's actually driving the car.

It happens when I am trying to park the car. I was reading the service manual today and it does say if the window system feels like it gets jammed it drops 200mm. I will try to disconnect the battery and reset the window. I did order a regulator/w motor as sometimes the motor thinks it's getting jammed when its not.(I've seen this in BMW's).
