F type wannabe
The Aston DB12.. sure is nice looking... and looks like an F!! But at $276,000, not likely for my garage.

I've owned 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 cylinder vehicles. I've owned 2- and 4-stroke. I've owned naturally-aspirated, supercharged, and turbocharged.
Notably lacking are rotary, 10- and 12-cylinder vehicles. Less notably are twin-charged, and multiple turbochargers. I'd like to have a 12-cylinder at some point. A $276,000 twin-turbo V-8, even this one, needs to get in line, and that line ain't moving until I win the lottery.

If you are worried about the price of an Aston you can pickup an Aston Cygnet. A manual transmission is available.

Welp, I'd say Aston produced their 2 seater F-Type looking car back in 2005, long before the F-Type. Yup there was the XK, but it was a 2+2, but yeah it still had the same long nose look. Which has been a design around for ages and ages - you had the BMW Z8, yep that looked like the F-Type, and heck the 240Z back in the late 60's early 70's. So it's probably more like "the F-Type looks a lot like all of those Astons" (which is a good thing!).

Having owned a pair of V12 turbo benzes, I want another one. I think the next target for me is to fully embrace the UK madness and get a DB9. I'm also considering a V8 Vantage 6sp, as they are somewhat reasonable on price for what they are. Gotta get rid of my vette, the Kei car and probably my audi before that though. Gonna take a minute.
